Andhra batter Hanuma Vihari expressed disappointment at not being part of the Indian Test team. Hanuma Vihari revealed that he hasn’t had any communication with the team management or selectors except for a conversation with head coach Rahul Dravid.

Hanuma Vihari’s last appearance for India was in July 2022 against England at Edgbaston, where he scored 20 and 11. The 30-year-old batter has played 16 Test matches, scoring 839 runs at a decent average of 33.56 with the help of a century and five half-centuries.

Andhra, positioned second in Elite Group B, has clinched three victories and one loss in five Ranji Trophy matches, trailing Mumbai. Vihari has played a pivotal role in Andhra’s success, scoring 365 runs in seven innings at an impressive average of 52.14 this season.
