“Bring back Ishan Kishan” – Twitter slams KS Bharat as his torrid run in Tests continues

Fans on Twitter reacted after India keeper-batter KS Bharat bagged another failure in Test cricket in the ongoing second innings of the second Test against England. The match between the teams is taking place at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

KS Bharat isn’t living up to the expectations as he has bagged a series of low scores in Test cricket. The batter was dropped from the team. However, Ishan Kishan not being there in the team made BCCI call him back into the team for two Tests against England.

KS Bharat played decent knocks in the first Test but couldn’t cash on the start he got. But with him making a comeback into the team, something special was expected of him. With the ongoing second game taking place at his home ground, it was expected that he would play a huge role in the game.

But it hasn’t been the case as he failed in both the innings. KS Bharat scored 17 runs in the first innings and then bagged another failure in the second innings. He couldn’t get going at all and ended up giving his wicket to spinner Rehan Ahmed.

Rehan Ahmed bowled a short ball on off and kicked up a touch that made the ball to hit high on the bat. Bharat couldn’t dispatch the ball as he ended up looping the ball that was caught by skipper Ben Stokes with ease.

KS Bharat managed just 6 runs off 28 balls in the second innings. His wicket left the team tottering at 228/7. With young batter Dhruv Jurel also in the team, it won’t be a surprise if the keeper-batter gets dropped for the third match between the teams in Rajkot, starting 15th February.
